CWORKS NEWS :
CWorks Systems Launches Webshare, Signature Reporting of Preventive Maintenance Data From Multiple Sites via the Web
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January
24, 2007 -- CWorks Systems, Inc., announced
today the launch of Webshare, an add-on software
service that provides breakthrough user
experience for facilities managers. This
product, used in conjunction with CWorks' cost
effective non-web CMMS software editions,
enables facilities managers to seamlessly view
'custom-like' reports via the web after
maintenance work order data is uploaded from
multiple sites. This new tool brings clarity to
information generated by CWorks CMMS,
streamlines data, and allows managers to
navigate effortlessly between data from multiple
sites.
"Webshare allows CWorks' clients to upload
maintenance work order data through a web
interface -- data that has been input into the
CWorks CMMS. From there, this data is
manipulated into an executive dashboard. Any
facilities tradesman using Webshare can easily
view the data of multiple sites from one
location, thereby, giving him the total
picture," explains CWorks' CEO Abdul Rani. He
adds, "People buy CMMS to get reports. Thus,
CWorks offers free or inexpensive non-web CMMS
but provides them with Webshare to have
customized views of their work data over the
web. Customers now receive the privacy and
simplicity of desktop computing combined with
the distributive power of Internet-based
reporting allowing them to get the information
they need anywhere the Internet is available."
Since 2001, CWorks has been designing,
developing, and providing training of
Computerized Maintenance Management System
(CMMS) for facilities managers of small to
midsize corporations throughout the world. "At
that time, we established CMMS software
dedicated to effectively managing and
maintaining assets, equipment, facilities or
properties at a reasonable cost, thus ensuring a
rapid ROI. That commitment to both free and
reasonably priced CMMS software and services
continues today," says Abdul Rani. CWorks
expects its release of Webshare will continue to
fuel the company's growth.
One of Webshare's main offerings is that data
generated from multiple sites can be viewed
simultaneously over the Internet, thus helping
supervisors of widely distributed small and
midsize facilities manage their offsite
maintenance operations more effectively without
high IT and Internet costs. Specific features
include the ability to access information on the
Web and view summary of data, analysis of work
details, cost history, and calendaring of events
for each facility. A demo of Webshare is now
available at
